Posted by I entered a mixed media egg into the Oklahoma State Fair Arts and Crafts contest. I’m fascinated with bohemian decorated eggs, found in Europe. This is my interpretation of the bohemian type egg. For my efforts I won first place and best of show in the miscellaneous Egg Art category.
I hope to experiment with the use of egg shells in the future! I used acrylic paint, string, gold fabric paint, and clear gloss varnish.
