Posted by After a failed attempt at a still life. I decided I needed to redeem myself! So I got one of my favorite ceramic pieces, a blue bird and put him in a regular cup and saucer. I think he fits perfectly. As if he has made a home and we’re invading his space, so very frustrating! I do love this painting so much, I will do a few more in the future.
I dare say this was inspired by Petite 10 Tea Room where I worked and they’re also the proud owners of this guy. Located in Yukon, OK, in the old Snyder’s, worth checking out. Cheers!
